Abbey Road Beatles Trivia

This week’s question deals with EMI studios other than Abbey Road where the Beatles recorded.

What EMI-owned studio other than Abbey Road was used by the Beatles and what songs were  recorded there?

Bonus question: Name three EMI-owned studios other than Abbey Road that were used by individual Beatles for recording sessions, along with the name of the Beatle and the album recorded at each.

The Beatles recorded “Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand,” “Sie Liebt Dich” and “Can’t Buy Me Love” at EMI Pathe Marconi Studios in Paris, France on January 29, 1964. See ““Beatles For Sale on Parlophone Records,” pages 35 and 119 – 120. George recorded part of his “Wonderwall” album at EMI’s recording studio in Bombay, India during January 1968. Paul recording most of his “Band On The Run” LP at EMI’s studio in Lagos, Nigeria, and his “Kisses On The Bottom” album at Capitol Studios (in the Capitol Tower) in Los Angeles, California. See “The Beatles Solo on Apple Records,” pages 171 – 176 and 205-207.
