LIVERPOOL International Beatle Week ~ Aug. 24–30, 2011
Prior to taking the Virgin train to Liverpool, Bruce will be at the Beatles Store in London on Wednesday, August 24, at 4:00 pm signing copies of his books, including “Beatles For Sale on Parlophone Records” and “The Beatles Are Coming! The Birth of Beatlemania in America.” The Beatles Store will also have limited numbers of some of his other books. The Beatles Store is located at 231/233 Baker Street near the Baker Street tube station.
On Friday, August 26, Bruce will be at the fan-friendly Beatles Record and CD Fair held at the Liverpool Marriot Hotel City Centre, located at One Queen Square within walking distance from the Lime Street train station. He will have a limited number of his books for sale. This will be a good opportunity to meet Bruce and discuss all things Beatles.
On Saturday, August 27, Bruce will be at Hard Day’s Night Shop signing copies of his books. The store is located at No. 1 Mathew Street next door to the Hard Day’s Night Hotel and just around the corner from the Cavern Club.
On Sunday, August 28, Bruce will be selling & signing copies of his books at the first-ever Beatles Literary Festival at the Adelphi Hotel. He will be giving an A/V presentation on how Beatlemania evolved in America at 3:30 pm and will be interviewed by “Lidddypool” author David Bedford at 7:20 pm. On Monday, August 29, Bruce will be interviewed by Spencer Leigh on BBC radio during the noon to 2:00 pm show. After the interview, he plans to hang out in Liverpool to enjoy the music.
