Beatles at the Ridge in Walnut Ridge, AK, Sept. 15, 2017

Bruce Spizer will hold a book signing Friday, September 15 at Beatles at the Ridge in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, where he is the Featured Speaker for the 2017 Beatles Authors and Artists Symposium. Headlining a panel of noted Beatles scholars such as Lanea Stagg, Dr. Kit O’Toole, Dr. Ken Womack, Sara Schmidt, Jude Southerland Kessler, film maker Cevin Soling, and artists Rande Kessler and Enoch Doyle Jeter, Spizer will address symposium attendees on “Sgt. Pepper at 50.”
The book signing will be held in The Studio on Main Street, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, and will feature a special 50th Anniversary cake, Beatles-themed prizes for guests, and live Beatles music by teen musician, Cameron Hicks. Attendees will also get to stroll through the Argenta Collection, an impressive collection of rare Beatles photos. All Beatles at the Ridge festival events are free. Attendees are encouraged to book nearby hotels soon as accommodations fill up quickly.
In addition, the celebration will feature face painters, balloon artists, jugglers, musicians, sidewalk chalk contests, and an Art Happening led by artist Enoch Doyle Jeter. As Kessler said, “Walnut Ridge, Arkansas is going to resemble a scene from ‘Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite.’ Bruce’s new book will be the wonderfully delicious icing on our Pepper cake!”
